2007 ADULT RETREAT RECAP
The annual adult retreat was held this year the weekend of March 9th-11th at the Shelburne Inn in Seaview, Washington. This year we had 25 family members which nearly filled the whole Inn. It was a very stormy weekend but it couldn't darken the spirits of our livelyl gang of parents. We had a few first timers as well as the seasoned veterans which made for a very fun weekend of getting to know each other as well as renewing old friendships.
Thanks so much to Penny Wilson for all her work in planning this years event, it was a great relaxing time for all.

RESULTS OF THE TENTH ANNUAL DAVE "HENDU" HENDERSON MIDSUMMER GOLF CLASSIC
It was Hot, Hot, Hot for this years golf tournament but it didn't seem to phase our golfers. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the facilities at the beautiful Washington National Golf Club. The net proceeds were a little disappointing this year(only around $3,500), but the good news is that we heard quite a bit of positive feedback about the new location, so I think if we did it again, we would hopefully have a better turnout. We had 90+ golfers instead of the full 144 and only had a few hole sponsors.
Our goal is to get a list of all the things that need to be done for this fundraiser event, and then start delegating more items. The more people that we can get involved, and the more ideas that we can generate, the more chance we have to make this the successfull fundraiser it has been in the past. We are very excited that Loni Henderson wants to volunteer her services for next year on helping get golfers and corporate sponsors. She has been a big part of making this golf tournament a tremendous success in the past.
Thank you all for your volunteer efforts and please let us know if you have any thoughts or comments on the tournament. Thanks again for all you did to make this a great event.
RESULTS OF THE 2006 PNWASF ANNUAL MEETING AND PARENT RETREAT
This years Annual Meeting was held at the Shilo Oceanfront Resort in Seaside, Oregon on Febuary 24, 25, and 26. We had several families attend both from Oregon and Washington. A good time was had by all visiting, golfing, shopping, eating and of coarse conducting some business at the annual meeting. It was decided at the meeting that next year's annual meeting and adult retreat will be held at the Shelborne in Longbeach, Washington in early March 2007.
