ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING AND ADULT RETREAT

Mark your calendars for our annual business meeting and adult retreat being held Friday March 2nd 2012 thru Sunday March 4th 2012. Portland Oregon is the destination this year, we will be at the Benson Hotel and the dinner+meeting will be at Old Town Pizza, two blocks away.

You must be a member to attend the retreat so make sure your dues are up to date. The only fee will be $50 per room per couple, and adults only. The only scheduled event is the dinner and meeting which I believe is Saturday evening. We will be voting for board members at this meeting so please email any board member if you are interested in serving on the board. A term is 2 years The rest of the weekend is for you to enjoy anywhere and with whomever you choose.

FIRST EVER WALK FOR ANGELS

It's time to put on your walking shoes for the first ever Washington state Angelman Syndrome Foundation, Walk for the Angels. This is a national walk taking place May 19, 2012 across America, raising awareness and funding for Angelman Syndrome. The Washington state walk is slated for 10 a.m. (registration 9 a.m.), Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Bradley Lake Park, 531 31st Ave. SE, Puyallup, WA 98374. The Bradley Lake Park location was selected for the paved flat path, approximately 1 mile in length where wheelchairs and strollers are easily accomodated. The park also has an inclusive and accessible playground. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the covered park shelter. Please register for the walk at www.angelman.org and pick the Seattle, WA site. 2012 DAVE "HENDU" HENDERSON MIDSUMMER GOLF CLASSIC

The 2012 Dave "Hendu" Henderson Midsummer Golf Classic to benefit the Pacific Northwest Angelman Syndrome Foundation will take place on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Washington National Golf Club in Auburn, WA. For questions contact Sherri Rein.
